The Memphis Marriott East, located at 2625 Thousand Oaks Blvd., in Memphis, will be the official host hotel for the 2010 Elvis Birthday Celebration.

The Elvis Dance Party, Conversations on Elvis and Elvis Fan Club Presidents' Event will all be held in the hotel's Cotillion Ballroom.

The Memphis Marriott East is offering a special Elvis Fan Rate of $89 for the nights of January 7, 8 and 9, 2010, for Elvis fans attending birthday events.

Special Guests Announced for Elvis' Birthday Celebration

We are excited to announce two special guests that will be making their first appearance at Graceland during Elvis' Birthday Celebration 2010.

Marlyn Mason met Elvis and co-starred with him in the 1969 film The Trouble with Girls. Marlyn will be our special guest speaker at the Elvis Birthday Fan Club Presidents' Event that will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memphis Marriott East. She will be sharing her stories and memories from being on the set with Elvis.

In addition to starring in The Trouble with Girls, Marlyn also has a long list of television and movie credits, including My Three Sons, Hogan's Heroes, The Odd Couple, Wonder Woman, Dynasty and more.

Barbara Hearn-Smith met Elvis for the first time during Christmas of 1954. They then later dated and spent lots of time together whenever Elvis was at home in Memphis. Barbara will be one of the special guest speakers at Conversations on Elvis on Saturday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Memphis Marriott East, where she will share some of her favorite stories and memories. Barbara can be seen in photos taken by photographer Al Wertheimer at Elvis' Audubon Drive house (above).

I had planned on us all listing to American Trilogy and having a moment od slince in his memory but that did not pan out ..All in all it was great seeing you all again ..Again I had told you all I'm making a Elvis Quilt and need scrap materal if any have some to donate .It would sure help out .. Want to Present Quilt at Humes Elvis Room by next August ..

Hi Audrey,
Well I cant' thank you enough for sharing this story with me! What a lucky lady you are and wonderful to hear what a great person Elvis was. One of the things I like most about him (aside from that voice, those looks lol!!) is that he always had time for people and was so great with the fans. I have met my fair share of celebrities over the years, and there are not too many who are like that, believe me.
Lol my husband isn't an Elvis fan either, I usually go to the tribute shows with friends, he will go once in a while but that's it.
I really enjoyed reading your story, it's just wonderful to hear a firsthand account like that, you have every right to treasure every second of Elvis, believe me I completely understand!! :)
